Made this gif during the pandemic when I would try to actively control my habit of doom-scrolling while being anxious.

Exponential growth is a process that increases quantity over time, through mathematical equations and algorithms the artwork explores the passing of time in reference to individual growth. The algorithms mimic the growth pattern of a tree.

Submerged in screen spaces, I scroll mindlessly. The information flows like grains of sand in an hourglass. I wipe off the notifications and set a clock to regain control over my screen time. But newer information flows again in a loop.

Perhaps the ultimate irony of modern lives is the longing to reach the summit while neglecting the most trivial sources of joy. The artwork invites everyone to stop for a moment and enjoy little moments and gestures that matter the most.

Aging Gracefully' depicts how we try to cheat time by trying to gain control over it. It symbolically represents the the loss of time through the journey of a woman aging and her hair greying, and portrays her trying to regain control over her age by recoloring her hair.

the naive eye, one open to the world, the other closed to its overwhelming demands, one sees it all, the other absorbs nothing, but gives back, slowly, outside of time, sometimes answers but often better questions.

Few months off of the first lockdown when the optimist bright light of it faded the slumber dull distress that the pandemic brought with it creeped in. Time had never felt more linear yet distorted. But you just say "kya he abhi" and try to vibe through it.

I created this artwork after feeling lightheaded after intense workout, although it also represents my state of mind most of the times.

If I just quit scrolling through Instagram like a mindless zombie, I’d have so many more hours in the day to kick goals left, right and centre, and to achieve peak productivity. And yet, I’m still doomscrolling.

Solstice captures the real time sunlight from the rising to setting of the summer sun on the longest day of '21 as the world was recovering from the time distortion of COVID. Digitally generated, light was portrayed as drifting circles - blazing a ghost trail in the sky and time.

This animation displays an experience of time in a very visceral way. At times when I am able to feel emotions in high tide, I sense the flow of time and flow along. But in low tide, from beneath the water, surfaces all the time I lost: in decay.

A little peep watches the endless loop of a bizarre coil that continues to spiral within itself forever and beyond. This little peep appears to be wasting time in its confusion, but in reality, it chose this path for itself.

I made this gif originally to express the harsh winters Texas experiences in February but it also has a personal meaning to me. This work is also about my upbringing in north Texas and how the years are slipping by as I'm an adult and still living in my childhood home.

Stuck in the loop.

Time is fleeting. Time is fleeing. Time is feeling.

As time leaves its marks on the eye, the perceiver observes movement and life. To move ahead is to move into and to live is to come out of. Pulsewidth utilises perception to narrate an ambiguous journey that takes you everywhere and nowehere at the same time.

The pandemic with its lockdowns has made a lot of us feel that we’ve lost years of our life. Although I can indulge in imagining the what-ifs and what-could-have-beens from time to time, it’s important for me to remember to not get lost in it and lose control of the present.

This motion visual explores the idea of someone meaning so much to you in such a short amount of time and losing them. Never getting to express how much they meant to you and having to face yourself as a result.

How time feels when I am working on an artwork.

Describing it would be very much stating the obvious. I like to believe that I have taken a clock as a protagonist to represent the theme of FIG 2022 through a very simple looping 2 second gif.

We think we have time. But the time we took for even thinking that is gone now. What I mean to say is that, time is constantly moving. Sometimes I use it wisely, other times I see it disappear like smoke. The art depicts how I see it other times.

The GIF is witness of passage of something as trivial and at the same time as detachable as a shadow. The mirror ‘reflects’ the introspective aspect of my transient self.

Each day feels the same. The only thing that suspends these cyclical time loops, albeit temporarily, is the act of creation. Only then is time made visible, fossilized, and kept as a keepsake, for us to go, "Here! This is what I did with my day..."

Living day after day, everyday feels exactly the same. Which day is it? Is it March already? Did that thing happen yesterday or the day before? You don't need to be in a SciFi film to be stuck in a never-ending loop of a monotonous life.

Is there a speed to time? What happens before we're caught off guard in the midst of all the indefinite movements and transient actions around us? When we are in our idiosyncratic zones, how does time pass? Time is relentless, and daydreaming is cathartic.
