Notes from the Future
A brief exploration of the future to visualise the impacts of Small ML entities which are contextual and local. Small ML are tiny machine learning models which are trained locally, and are usually low-powered for use in a variety of environments. Although lacking the sheer power of data-centers, they more than make up for it with direct access to live data, and highly contextual learning environments. Under the watchful guidance of a human, their training is far richer and more nuanced which makes for excellent hyperlocal intelligence.
